10 years

I passed my 10 year anniversary yesterday.....it was not as big as a wedding, or a death, but almost. Yesterday marked 10 years since I quit smoking. When I quit I felt like I was old enough and had smoked so long that it probably wouldn't matter, and who knows, I could still have health problems relating to it. But I am really glad I quit when I did. My husband still smokes so I am around the second hand smoke. I wish he would quit, but I have given up on trying for that. It still has helped me to quit, even if he still smokes. So YEA for me......10 years!!!!

Holy moly, girl, that's AWESOME!! Congratulations!! I sometimes think I'll never be able to quit, but when I hear success stories like yours, it makes me realize that it really is possible. I'll keep trying, and I'll do it eventually...

Thanks so much for all your sweet comments on my blog. I haven't had a lot of time to be online lately, but have seen your comments coming through my email and they always make me smile. ;o)

We did have a long night last night, but mostly due to excitement I think. No baby yet, but the contractions are getting progressively stronger, so it has to be soon. Hopefully today. We know he can't stay in there forever!! lol Time to go for another walk...

(Maybe I'll lose a few pounds with all this walking! hehe)

Thanks again, Jean! {{hugs}}

Congrats Mom! I am glad you quit!

Maybe you could get Dad to only smoke outside.
