Trying to lay out the diamonds!

I have entered the Pets on Quilts contest hosted by SewCalGal. I think I have many qualifications for winning this contest because I can't keep my pets OFF my quilts. I hope this  picture counts for the contest, since I am working on the quilt, but some of my best cat pictures are with quilts in progress. Plus she is just so happy in these pictures! (I did finish the quilt last week too.)
I have posted the link to the right, so feel free to go vote for your favorite pet on quilt photo. Mine is Jean's Page, #50 on the list.
I had more help than I wanted or needed when trying to lay out the diamonds today.

At one point I had Mama and Smokey wrestling on it, but didn't take any pictures as I was too busy trying to get them off! Luckily by that point I had the blocks numbered!

She just kept rolling around...lol...I am sewing therows together now, before she decides to help again.

LOL, your assistants need some more training :) Looks like you need to make a upright design wall :) The diamonds are looking good!

I can laugh as I don't have any such kind of assistant!!! CUTE but could drive one crazy if they do that before the blocks are numbered! I really like the way this quilt top is turning out!

LOL Looks to me like she was sorting the blocks. LOL

Your bordered diamonds look fantastic!! But too funny, I have the same problem when I lay them out on the floor. It quickly becomes a cat magnet!

Jean, this diamond quilt looks amazing!! I can only imagine how hard it must have been! And that darn cat!! LOL, my cats do things like that all the time. :-)

your assistants definetely know how to 'sign' their work of art.
It's lovely to have a quilt with purrrsonality!
I have been following your progress with their great help. Lovely.

Oh Jean, honey, the diamonds are gorgeous, as are your little helpers :) Loved seeing your vacation pics, especially that snow!!! Now that's something I would love to experience right about now. It's been terribly hot down South.

Oh and on that "Photo Bucket" thingie, I've got it too. Would love to know how to get rid of that pesky little thing, so any help you can give will be greatly appreciated :)

I've been MIA cuz I was recently diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer. Talk about putting a damper in life!!! It is what it is tho, and I intend to kick it to the curb :)

Hugs!!!

She's a big girl, isn't she? (Just like mine.) They really like to jump in and help. It only takes 3 times as long to finish when they do though. LOL It looks like a beautiful quilt.

That quilt is gorgeous! Don't you love it when they decide to move everything for you? Whenever I'm missing anything, I head right for the stash spot. Thanks.

Your quilt is gorgeous. Your kitty is adorable. Mine tries to help me whenever I lay my quilt on the floor too.

Great quilt! Your kitty is like child taking a running start and sliding across the kitchen floor. (How I loved doing that)!

Beautiful quilt. I love the colours and fabrics! Perhaps you should allow your kitty to help with the layout. Cats have a way with quilts!

Very beautiful quilt! I'm glad you had the blocks numbered. It seems impossible to find the same layout again when you lose it. I bet you enjoy your cat!
