Strip cutting leftovers and more blocks

 As I was cutting the diamonds from strips, I had some leftover pieces with the angle cut. I decided to use them as enders when I got up to iron, putting 2 matching ones together as shown.  So now I have a small pile of these to find a use for.

I sewed together a few more diamonds yesterday, so  now I have a total of 58. I cut some more lights to make 5 more diamonds last night, so once I get these sewn together, I will see where I am with this quilt. I am sewing with friends tomorrow at the store, so will put it up on the design wall there and play around with arranging them.

 I am getting excited about putting this quilt together, though I have another one I need to work on too.

You might remember Rachel's Circle and Spin that I started working on several months ago. Things have been so crazy, that I haven't gotten back to it.   I need to...soon....her birthday is in July!  You might ask why I have been working on diamonds instead of circles??? Not sure I know the answer to that! Do you?
