Lovin' this ZigZag...

I started quilting the Zig-Zag quilt after I got home from the Farmer's Market yesterday. It went pretty fast and before I knew it I was finished.
I used the Mini Chaos panto, which is a fun, interwoven pattern. The black lines are the ones I was following, the red lines are the row below and above. So it's fast to quilt across, but you aren't getting as far down the quilt each time as you do with some pantos since the pattern dips back to the row before.
Once it's finished, you don't see the ups and downs as much, but I like the movement. I used white So Fine thread, which quilted up beautifully.

The back of the quilt....sort of looks like worms crawling across!
I got it all trimmed and ready to bind, with a little help from my friend! I don't have enough of any of the fabrics left to bind it, so I have to wait until tomorrow to get some at Cut Up and Quilt after work.
I'm thinking about using the border green or the dark pink and orange from the zigzag background. What do you think?

lovely quilt. I like the quilting.
I sometimes sew all the scraps together to a long strip for the binding and I like the way it looks. lol. If I had to choose a colour it would be orange or dark pink.

have fun going to the store.

I think they are both good choices. The green would be more formal, the pink/orange more fun.
