Kelli brought a sampler finish to Monday night's sampler club. It's interesting what can be done with 2 colors!
The StarLuna Sampler group had finished their four Astra blocks and worked on the Double Pinwheel Whirl block in class. This block is made using paper piecing techniques so they got to practice a new skill!
I gave them their last block for homework, so next time we will work on cutting the setting triangles and figuring out how it all goes together on point. One of the quilters was still working on hers, so I'll get a pic next time.
The beginners meet tonight to finish their quilt with binding...yea! more finishes!

The purple .. is particularly striking. They are all nice as usual but that purple stands out.
