Do you ever look back?

My first quilting goal of the summer is to get the Cobblestone Path quilted. I love being able to look back on the blog to see previous projects and was surprised when I looked back for this one and saw how long ago I made it. That is one of the things I enjoy about blogging... it's a journal of sorts  for me. I actually started writing it as a place to post pictures about my classes so students could see and share their work, but I quickly realized that it was so much more.
During the school year I sometimes get so busy that I don't have time to read many blogs, but I hope to get caught up in the next few weeks with my favorites. It's fun to see what is going on in the quilting world. I have met many nice quilters through blogging.

I plan on heading up to the quilting machine soon and getting this loaded, bobbins wound and get started on the quilting. The new sampler, Ribbon Quartz, begins tonight. I'm excited to see the fabric choices...and get them started on the first blocks.

The main reason I started a blog was to journal my quilting (I got tired of all the time scrapbooking took). Hey, just saw that you won the Hoffman challenge. Woohoo!

I enjoy going back through my blogs too. Sometimes I find things that I don't even remember doing!
