First Day

I drove to Elk Horn IA today to meet my friend Laura so we could trade quilt boxes. We are involved in a Round Robin Quilt block exchange. This is the last exchange, then we will all get together on March 10 to see everyone's blocks. It has been really fun to see all the blocks and work with all the different fabric choices. We decided to make 3 blocks that are the equivalent of a 12 1/2" block. Two of the blocks can be 12 1/2", but one has to be an equivalent ( 4-6" blocks, 9-4" blocks, etc....) There are 5 of us. We started off by making blocks for our own box. Noone has seen their box since it left their hands in November so we are all anxious for March 10.
