I was a little worried about the thread as I neared the end. I made it!
I tried taking these pix without the flash, they aren't that great either. One of these days when I have time to mess around, I am going to practice taking some so I can get good color! I used a feather panto and like how it flows into itself with each row.
Here is the back....After that I decided to clean a room. My house has been sorely neglected the last few months...so it felt good to clean. I have lots of little 'stuff' sitting around, like tea sets and bears and other crafty things I made, so had to wash that stuff and fluff what can't be washed in the dryer. I swear some of it is going to be put away, I am tired of dusting it. But I love my little tea sets, so they will probably stay. And you have to have a few little guys to go to the tea parties. See why I have problems putting stuff away?
I love the idea of tea sets and a few bears for a tea party!
ReplyDeleteYou could just have tea parties on weekends and put everything away on Mondays. Then it wouldn't get dusty. I have cleared my house of a lot of the stuff that has to be moved to dust. That makes dusting a lot more fun. But then my motto is "I dust once a year whether it needs it or not".

I think we quilters lose weight with the sweat we produce when we notice that we are running out of a certain type of thread....glad you made it. Love the quilt. Come clean my sewing room now....please???

ReplyDeleteI have the same problem with knick knacks and teddy bears. Every time I clean I swear that I'm going to box them all up, but they look so nice after everything has been buffed and fluffed!
I love the quilting. I don't like cleaning and dusting. I have a bunch of that to do myself. You want to come do mine?

ReplyDeleteMy cleaning plan is that I clean the house top to bottom one day ( and one day only) a week. That way I get the other 6 days to play
