It's back to school for me today...we have a big welcome back district meeting this morning then it is on to school to work. The kids come back tomorrow.
I finished this quilt top yesterday before class and will post a better pic when I get one. I love the secondary circular pattern that you get with this block. I also finished sewing the binding down on the new quilt I will be using for Beginning Quilting...a Double 4-Patch. So I got it hung on display last night too. Whew! 2 handsewn bindings in a week...that is a lot for me!
2 handswen bindings in one week is an accomplishment!
ReplyDeleteI hope the school year goes well.
2 handsewen in one week WOW. I can't remeber the last time I sewed one down let alone 2.

Good luck with your year!! We go back August 26, 27 and the kids come back on the 31st.
ReplyDeleteI think I better start getting ready :o)

Oh this is awesome. It reminds me of the one quilt in the newest issue of American Patchwork and Quilting. I LOVE the look of the curves the triangle make!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful as always. I made my great grandmother a quilt with that ruler. Haven't used it sense. It was a big project when i first started quilting.
