I worked on the kaleidoscope blocks some more tonight after supper. There are 2 types of blocks, I have 15 of these repeating blocks and 10 of the linking blocks finished ( I haven't taken pix of the linking blocks yet). I am going to make 15 of each and then see how it looks. It won't be huge, but that's ok. They won't be octagonal either, I just haven't sewn the corners on them yet.
I love making stack n whack type blocks.
Love your blocks....
ReplyDeletethat's one I have never done. did you show us the fabric you started with?
ReplyDeleteGorgeous blocks, Jean. You're using beautiful fabric for such graphic designs as these.
ReplyDeleteI love these blocks. They are great. They look hard to do. Steph
ReplyDeleteOK, those blocks look SO VERY COMPLICATED... I don't think I will try them. I can't wait to see the finished project.
ReplyDeleteJean those are beautiful.
ReplyDeletelove it, we are doing a one block wonder class with my guild next weekend. looking forward to it. I've taught the stack and whack class years ago and still love it.
ReplyDeleteit's just amazing how the fabric looks in the blocks...so much fun. Yours are so interesting
ReplyDeleteI have a Stack & Whack book and can't quite figure it out...loaned it to a friend and she can't figure it out, either. I guess I"ll have to get it back and see if I can master it as I love how the blocks look when they are done!
