I have had classes the last couple nights so haven't had much time to sew, but I did get most of the cottages sewn together last weekend. I sewed some grassy strips in between the rows to separate them a bit. I still have the last row to do, then I will have to figure out where to go from here.
The second session of sewing for the Double 4-Patch is Saturday, so should have some good pix of them. One of the gals has already finished her top.

Jean I love how you added the grass.
I may have to borrow that great idea.
I think I spotted you Jean....in the house with the bright green roof!
the houses look great. How big are the blocks?
Okay, that settles it, my RR will be houses...I already have some made up from a BOM that I never completed (I know shame one me)...so this will be great....truly love what you are doing.
It just keeps getting better and better! That grass really makes a difference.
Oh, Jean...it looks WONDERFUL!!!
Such a great idea to add the grass to your village. I enjoyed enlarging your photo and followed the months & seasons from top to bottom.
Great variety in your houses!

Hi Jean,
I just found you. These cottage blocks are so adorable...and I love that you added trees to the quilt. Do you have a pattern or are you making the cottages and trees up as you go? Could you get me started?
Thanks,
Phyllis
It's looking great Jean!
I have a UFO somewhere of houses and trees...wonder where that thing is?!? I really liked it...almost as much as I like yours!
