Cup swap

The cups I ended up with after swapping.

 It was fun last weekend looking at all the cute cups the nine ladies had made. I made 2 different kinds out of sewing related fabrics. Many of them made all different patterned cups.We laid ours out and went around and chose which one we wanted from each swapper's selection.They were all so cute and it was hard to choose, but I think this selection will make an awesome quilt.

 Brenda made 30 cups, so had quite a variety!

 It's going to be fun to see what everyone does with their cups! Next we are going to swap flip flop blocks...stay tuned!

Cup Swap ready...

A while back a friend wanted to do a cup swap, so she convinced nine of us to make cups to swap with her. We found a cute pattern on Fat Cat Patterns to use, decided on white backgrounds and set a date two months away to have them finished and meet to swap. 

Of course, that date is coming up this weekend, so I had to get busy last weekend and get them made (why do I wait til the last minute?). I decided to use this sewing patterned fabric for my cups that she had gifted me awhile back....and I love how they turned out. I can't wait to see what the others have come up with!
