Another quilting finish...now to have a binding day!

I quilted the Peas in a Pod quilt yesterday. I designed and made this a couple of years ago, but was too busy at the time to quilt it, so it's been waiting patiently. I had already sewed the back together and made a scrappy binding for it, so I will probably bind it on Tuesday when I sew with the ladies.
I like to take a picture of the back of the quilt as well, since many times you can see the quilting pattern better on the back.

I love this kitty fabric! I didn't use it on the front, just the back.

Here is the actual panto. It's Leafage, by Keryn Emerson. I have done several quilts in a row with this panto, so I am very comfortable with it. I got a new plastic panto cover for my table and it looks so pretty..no tears fixed with tape...no residual masking tape marks. Love it! The old one was getting hard and cracked easily. It came with the used machine and table, so who knows how old it is.

I want to get the Hollow Cubes, Too quilt loaded on the machine this morning. Not sure how much I will get quilted as I have some class paperwork to do and need to run up there for a bit later too. I'm feeling pretty tired and lazy this morning, so let's hope I wake up soon!

More on the mystery quilt and some finishes from classes....

I got the mystery quilt about half quilted Monday. It isn't huge, about 62" x 62". I am trying out a new panto...so far it is going well. This is the back fabric...I really like it and may have to make something else out of it.

The panto is Feather Me by Meredith Englund. It has 2 rows, each about 6" wide. I really like it.
Diana brought a couple finishes to class last night. She got her Diamonds Forever quilt finished...isn't it bright and pretty?
She is the one who put all her puzzle pieces vertically. Makes a pretty quilt.

The ladies in Beginning Quilting will be putting on their borders tomorrow night. Should be fun. They were excited last week as their fabrics started looking like a quilt. Hopefully I can get some pictures next week before we layer and tie them.

It's finished....and I cleaned, don't die of shock!

I was a little worried about the thread as I neared the end. I made it!
I tried taking these pix without the flash, they aren't that great either. One of these days when I have time to mess around, I am going to practice taking some so I can get good color! I used a feather panto and like how it flows into itself with each row.
Here is the back....

After that I decided to clean a room. My house has been sorely neglected the last few months...so it felt good to clean. I have lots of little 'stuff' sitting around, like tea sets and bears and other crafty things I made, so had to wash that stuff and fluff what can't be washed in the dryer. I swear some of it is going to be put away, I am tired of dusting it. But I love my little tea sets, so they will probably stay. And you have to have a few little guys to go to the tea parties. See why I have problems putting stuff away?

Christmas goodies....pantos!

I got some new pantos for Christmas from my daughters. I am excited to try them out!
My machine has a throat space of about 11" so I can only quilt about 6-8" at a time.
I am not a world class quilter yet....maybe some day...lol....so hopefully I can do these. this one has 2 patterns.
Now I am anxious to try them out....I have a quilt to do for someone so probably won't practice on it, but maybe after I get that one finished I will put something of mine on. Yes, Virginia, I have a few unquilted items....lol
