Why did it have to end? Retreats need to be longer!

Rose's T-shirt quilt
On Sunday we were all a bit sad to realize our 3 1/2 days of sewing were coming to an end. But many things got finished, so that was nice! Some things were UFO's and finished on retreat, some of the projects were started on retreat. Hope you enjoy this little show of what we got finished.

My Reversible Box Tote by VeryShannon
I started a new design while on retreat so spent most of the time working on it. It will be finished soon!

Rose's Row by Row sampler
It was hard to get up and come to work yesterday, and today but I survived! I also had a sampler club last night and another one tonight. I will be ready to put up my feet tomorrow night for sure!

Coming to you LIVE from retreat

Look who came to visit our retreat! We play games while on our retreats and the last time we played a game using 2 1/2" x 6 1/2" rectangles. We then have to make something out of the rectangles we win. Cindy made each of us a cute little chicken pincushion.
Rose made each of us a cool jar opener out of hers.
Dianne sewed this cute little top as her first project and I put mine together (below) as mine. I will probably do more to it as it's not very big...maybe a placemat?

My goodies!
Pat couldn't come because of an illness in her family. We are still hoping she can make it for at least a day of sewing.

I have been working on a new project, figuring the cutting out as I go. The project has five different blocks and I got one of each finished before going to bed. No pix yet!
