Synchronize class...graphic lines and smooth design!

I taught the Synchronize class last week to some quilters with great ideas for colors on this graphic quilt. Jane is using batiks...they are a favorite of mine too.
Diana saw the beach and water when she looked at the design, so chose browns and teals.

Charisa is using many of the colors I used as she thought it would be great for her grandson.

Dianne chose this flowery background to set off her tone on tone fabrics..hers will look like butterflies and fences in the garden.
Diana's HST's are fish to go with her beachy theme, so she did them a little differently than the pattern. Aren't they cute!

Here is my quilt draped over some chairs during class. I think it would be great made a bit smaller for a baby quilt.
Everyone got several of each block finished. I hope they bring them back to I can see them.

Let's get Synchronized!

I recently finished Synchronize and had fun taking it out for a photo shoot. I find that the colors are so much more true when I take pictures outside, but I usually take them around our yard. I needed to take a good photo of a  challenge quilt, so I needed to find a place I could hang it for a straight-on picture. Since I was heading out with it to photograph, I took Synchronize along and got some great pictures of both! You will have to wait a bit longer to see pictures of the challenge quilt...sorry!
I will be teaching the pattern for this quilt next month at Cut Up and Quilt.

I had some of this charcoal stripe left from another project and thought it would look good as the binding.
Finished up with a label and Conrad approved!
I will be on a mini retreat  this weekend with friends....can't wait to spend it sewing.
