A finish or two!

While I was in Baltimore my frames for the Diva Frame Wallets I made awhile back came in the mail. So I finished them yesterday.
They are fun and easy to make and I willprobably wish that I had ordered a few more so I have them when I want to make another one!
I also worked on sewing together a new project I started on retreat. I had almost finished the blocks, so made the last two and started sewing it together. I think I can get it finished today if all goes well. I'm excited about this one and will show you soon!

More Diva Frame Wallets

I spent some time this week making a few more Diva Frame Wallets. Like most things, the more you make, the faster it goes.  They are finished except for the clasps.
I ordered the metal frame clasps over the weekend, so hopefully they will come soon!

I think they will make a cute gift for someone....

I spent a good share of the day yesterday working on the pattern for the red and white challenge quilt. It's finished but I need to go over it again in a few days so that I can see it with fresh eyes and double check for mistakes.
I also worked in the yard for several hours, trimming the lilac bush and cutting the branches into smaller piecies.  It was gorgeous here today, mid 70s....pretty weird for IA in July.
Today I am helping my daughter with her garage sale, so if you live in our area, come and see me!

The giveaways are still open until Friday night, so you can still sign up if you haven't already. The giveaway post for the magazine and $40. gift card to Fat Quarter Shop is here, the 2 patterns are here and the lovely, delicious fat quarters are here. Good luck!
