My bi-monthly sewing group met last night for some laughter and food. Over the years we have done several challenges together, most recently a round robin. We were ready for a new one, so last time I challenged them to bring 30 smallish pieces of fabric and 5 matching squares. ( I borrowed this challenge idea from a friend's blog). We made a stack for each of us and went around the table putting one of our 30 pieces on each stack until we used them all. Then we put one of our 5 matching squares on each stack. We each took one of these stacks home and have to make something out of it by our next meeting in Nov. Should be interesting to see what everyone comes up with.
I haven't done any sewing the past few days....though I did get some more fabric for the baby quilt last night, so plan on working on that some more this weekend. I am teaching the Tangled in the Kite Strings class tomorrow...string-piecing is always fun!
Happy Friday!
